Boasting a deliciously distinct bitter-sweet flavour of Aperol and vibrantly red texture thanks to the addition of aromatic Campari, the drink is a firm favourite for Italian cocktail lovers on any occasion.
This cocktail is made with Aperol, a popular Italian apéritif that has a distinct flavour. The addition of Campari, an unmistakable and contemporary classic, gives the cocktail a dry, light and refreshing taste. Being finished off with a splash of lime juice and a slice of strawberry adds a distinctive sour and a beautiful colour to the drink.
La signora di Aperol
Ingredients:
- 30ml Aperol
- 15ml Campari
- 30ml lime juice
- 3 strawberries
- 1 egg white
- 20ml Grenadine syrup
Preparation:
- Purée the strawberries in a shaker.
- Put all the ingredients into the shaker.
- Dry shake for 30 seconds.
- Add ice cubes into the shaker and shake well for 15 seconds.
- Filter and pour into Mr Slim's glass.
- Decorate pieces of strawberry on the glass rim.
