HÀ NỘI After the success of La Tomatina – a gastronomy event featuring authentic Spanish food last year, Melia Hanoi will bring back the festive vibe of the Spanish tradition for three days next week.
Taking place on the last Wednesday of August, though the partying starts earlier in the week in the Buñol near to Valencia in Spain, La Tomatina is the world’s biggest tomato fight festival, attracting thousands of festival goers every year.
At the Melia’s La Tomatina, guests will be enjoy a Spanish gastronomical celebration including a wide range of authentic specialties such as signature cocktail 'Tinto de Verano', croquettes, gazpacho, an array of tapas, paella, Mediterranean fresh salad bar, live cooking stations and grill, and classic desserts.
