HA NOI – Innovative Italian chef Fabrizio Aceti, who has more than 25 years of experience working with renowned five-star resorts, luxury hotel groups and restaurants from around the world, has been serving as a guest chef at Angelina, the Italian restaurant and lounge in the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.

Aceti, whose international career includes stints in some of the most renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, including Le Louis XV Restaurant at Alain Ducasse a l’Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo, and SPOON by Alain Ducasse in London, has became Chef de Cuisine at the popular Italian restaurant, bar and lounge. Drawing from the traditional northern Italian dishes that influence his repertoire, Chef Aceti has created new dishes, featuring innovative pizzas and pastas, as well as other classic Italian dishes.

Chef Aceti cultivated his interest in authentic Italian cuisine while growing up in Piedmont, in the northwest mountains of Italy. He also developed an appreciation for fine dining through his passion for travel. Both of his passions have been fueled by his international culinary career; he has lived in eight different countries over the past 25 years.

“Great chefs should have a global perspective on food,” said Chef Aceti, who is known for his hearty, yet healthy cooking style. “My goal is to uphold the timeless sophistication of Angelina, and at the same time continue to expand our culinary offerings by bringing in more authentic flavours from Italy’s different regions.” – VNS
