HÀ NỘI — A-list singer Đàm Vĩnh Hưng has once again proved his reputation after tickets for his show sold out long before the concert at the weekend.
Organisers say this is because of his live performance in August with Mỹ Tâm was so popular, fans have been rushing to grab tickets for his next show.
Entitled Có Những Niềm Riêng (The Innermost Feelings), the concert will take place on October 6 at the Melia Hotel Hanoi’s Grand Ballroom instead of the Friendship Palace as scheduled. The location has been changed due to a large fire last week that damaged completely the stage of the Friendship Palace.
Hưng, aka Mr. Đàm, said he has selected carefully a repertoire featuring both his hits and the ones that audience do not have chance to listen regularly.
“I have always been overwhelmed by the warm greeting of my audience, so it will be a shame if I make them disappointed," the HCM City-based singer said during a press conference about his show.
"As usual, whenever I’m on stage, I will devote all my heart and my mind to them. In addition, all the hits have been remixed aiming to offer audience a fresher experience,”
The in-vogue singer also invited celebrity singer Hồ Ngọc Hà, who has been regarded by Hưng as his younger sister and earned a great esteem from Hưng.
Other guest artists include Dương Triều Vũ, Hoài Lâm, and winner of the singing contest “Solo with Bolero 2016” Thu Hằng. VNS
