HCM CITY — The fifth Viet Nam International Exhibition on Film and Television Technology will be held at HCM City’s Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from June 8 to 10.
Telefilm 2017, as it is called, will have 250 booths showcasing TV programmes and serials, value-added and support services, and technology and solutions for the TV, media, and communications industries, among others.
VTV, VTVCab, SCTV, FPT, BHD, ADT and Sunrise will be among the local exhibitors.
There will also be companies and organisations from many countries and territories, such as the US, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Turkey.
Many seminars will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition, including the future of internet TV development in Viet Nam, Vietnamese TV series: trends and challenges, and promoting online safety and protecting brand integrity.
Organised by Viet Nam Televison and the ADPEX Joint Stock Company, the exhibition will create a venue for both domestic and foreign television stations, and film producers, distributors and pre-production and post production services to share experiences and seek business opportunities
It will also provide opportunities for local firms to learn on-the-spot about film making processes and the latest production techniques, said Ha Thi Phuong Lam, chairwoman of the ADPEX Joint Stock Company. — VNS
