HÀ NỘI — A free screening of the Israeli documentary film I'm Fat will be held on June 3 as part of the 10th European-Vietnam Documentary Film Festival.
The film is an inspirational story about Halit – an overweight and happy woman who has achieved professional success, good friends and a loving life partner. However, at the age of 40, Halit begins to worry about future. The film follows the process of change that Halit is going through and how she confronts her “open wound” with courage in front of the camera. In a world where most of people consider thin to be beautiful, what will be Halit’s choice?
The screening will start at 8pm at the National Documentary and Scientific Studio, 465 Hoàng Hoa Thám Street, Hà Nội. — VNS
