HCM CITY—Vietnamese-American singer Thanh Tuyen’s first live show in her native land will be delayed until March in HCM City, according to the event’s organiser.
The concert, Tinh Mot Ngay Cung Tram Nam (Love of 100 Years), was originally scheduled for tonight (December 15) at the Adora Luxury Centre in Tan Binh District to celebrate her 50-year career. More than 1,000 tickets have been distributed.
Tuyen invited Viet kieu singers Thai Chau, Son Tuyen and Bang Kieu, and Vietnamese singers Le Quyen and Hoai Lam to perform at the event.
The organiser said Tuyen, 67, became ill after a trip to Da Nang early this week. Anyone who bought a ticket will receive a refund. — VNS
