HA NOI — Top Vietnamese vocalists will perform at Spring Concert: The Warm Arms, which will be held at the Friendship Cultural Palace on April 8.

Spring Concert: The Warm Arms is a live show jointly organised by the Mountainous Underprivileged Students Fund, Media Max Joint Stock Company and Thang Long Song and Dance Theatre. The show is directed by singer Tan Minh.
None of the artists will be paid for their performances. The proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Mountainous Underprivileged Students Fund, which will be used to construct new bridges, roads and schools and to take care of underprivileged students in mountainous areas such as Ha Giang, Bac Kan and Tuyen Quang Provinces.
“I, together with my friends and colleagues, have participated in many projects supporting the remote regions,” said singer Tung Duong about his motivation to join the concert.
“I have seen children without proper clothes in the freezing cold weather, children studying in schools without proper infrastructure or those suffering from cleft palate. But their parents do not have the financial means to get them treated in hospitals, which really hurts me,” Duong said.
The singers will perform some of their popular love songs and hits to enthrall the audience.
According to musician Duong Cam, music director of the concert, the event will not only include solo performances but also special group performances that have never been featured in any other concertbefore.
Cam recently received two Devotion Awards - Producer of the Year and Musician of the Year. — VNS
