HCM CITY — The British Council will present British singer and songwriter Rukhsana Merrise at the SOUL Live Project on October 20.
Born and raised in West London, Merrise’s music is a blend of contemporary folk and soul. In September 2014, she released her first EP “September Songs”, racking up over a million plays on Soundcloud.
She has performed across Europe and at international music festivals including Glastonbury, Citabel, BST, and Latitude.
Merrise will perform along with Vietnamese singer Bich Ngoc, runner-up in the 2015 Vietnam Idol.
The concert will begin at 8pm at 214-216 Pasteur Street in District 3. Tickets are VND150,000 and can be purchased at www.ticketbox.vn. — VNS
