Hoi An — A collection of 50 colour photos taken by former Viet Nam News Agency (VNA)’s photojournalist, Vu Cong Dien, will be on display in the ancient Hoi An city on August 26 to September 5th.
The exhibition, ‘Colour of Earth and Heaven’, which features the beauty of people, landscape and lifestyle of people living in mountainous and rural areas mostly in Quang Nam Province, aims to raise money for poor people and children.
Dien, who worked for VNA for 30, said the exhibition will feature photos that he snapped on charity journeys in the central and central highlands provinces.
He said he joined a charity group, the Quang Nam-Da Nang for Community Group, to help the poor people and children in the mountainous districts in Quang Nam and Da Nang over the past five years.
Dien said he retired for years, but still kept working as freelance photojournalist and taking part in field photo tours.
The photo exhibition will be displayed in the lobby of Phu Thinh Hotel in at 488 Cua Dai Street in Hoi An city. — VNS
