HÀ NỘI — An art display to mark 20 years since Hội An and Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary were given UNESCO World Heritage status has opened.

The display is made up of paintings, graphic work and sculptures from 70 artists from the central provinces of Quảng Nam, Quảng Ngãi, Bình Định, Thừa Thiên - Huế, Quảng Trị, and Quảng Bình and Đà Nẵng City.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to discover more about the areas while learning about its culture and heritage.
Prizes were also awarded for the best work with the top honour going to Quảng Nam-based artist Lê Đình Chinh for his lacquer painting Đêm Hội (Festival Night).
Sculpture Những Người Con Di Sản (People and Heritage) by Nguyễn Văn Huy and lacquer painting Ấn Tượng Chămpa (Champa Impression) Nguyễn Tường Vinh also picked up awards.
The exhibition runs until Sunday at Duy Phú Commune, Duy Xuyên District. — VNS
