HA NOI — A screening of ‘Aimless’ (2003) with English subtitles will take place on July 26 at the Viet Nam Feature Films studio (VFS), 4 Thuy Khue Street, Ha Noi.
‘Aimless’ is an independent film based on the script ‘Without Eva’ by writer Nguyen Quang Lap and made with sponsorship from international cinematography development funds such as the Fond Francophonie (France) and Vision Sud Est (Swiss).
The film depicts the life of immigrants from the countryside to the big city and all the temptations they encounter.
The 90-minute long film has won prestigious prizes, including the Silver Kite by Vietnamese Cinematography Association in 2013 and the Silver Lotus 2013 at the Vietnamese Film Festival. — VNS
