Japanese artist Yohei Yama will host his solo exhibition Phenomenon ÷ (Time x Space) at Vin Gallery on June 28.

The exhibition envisions the universe and its life cycles where the future becomes the present and the present becomes the past

Yama is known for paintings with layer of lines, colour and patterns. His works are inspired by nature, spinning the waves of the cosmos and weaving together the rhythm of natural forces.

Yama worked as a photographer before he began painting at the age of 26.

He has held more than 30 solo and group exhibitions in Japan, France and Việt Nam.

In 2015, he launched a solo exhibition The Power of Semiosis at Vin Gallery.

The Phenomenon ÷ (Time x Space) exhibition will be open until September 27. The gallery is at 6 Lê Văn Miến Street in District 2. — VNS
