HCM CITY — Mozart’s The Magic Flute will be staged at 8pm on March 31 at the HCM City Opera House at 7 Lam Son Square in District 1.
The opera is supported by the Goethe Institute and Quynh Paris, which has provided costumes. It was first performed in HCM City in November 2013, setting the stage for later opera productions in Viet Nam.
The opera remains one of the most frequently performed classical operas in the history of world music.
Tickets are VND450,000 (US$21) to VND900,000 ($42). — VNS
