HA NOI — The 15th Viet Nam Poem Day will be held on February 11 at the Temple of Literature in Ha Noi.
The highlight of this year’s event is the introduction of a space for poetry for children where poem competitions will be held.
There will be talks with authors and winners of the 2016 Literature Award held at the traditional poem space.
This is also the first time the Poet’s Path opens, where biographies and notable works of famous poets will be featured.
An exhibition will be held to mark the 60th anniversary of the Viet Nam Writers’ Association, featuring valuable documents, images and artefacts that demonstrate the achievements of the association over the past 60 years, according to the association.
It is expected that numerous Vietnamese poets across Viet Nam and overseas will participate in this year’s Poem Day.
In other provinces, Poem Day events are held at historical sites or at travel destinations. —VNS
