Tet Shoeboxes Project, a Ha Noi-based charitable project, are hosting a special fundraising event – Share the Light – this Saturday at The Grove Garden Bar in Tay Ho District.
All funds raised will go directly towards helping the Phao Village, an isolated and poor floating community living on a section of Red River under the Long Bien Bridge in Ha Noi, increase their running electricity from one hour a day to eight.
Featuring workshops, a flea market, yoga, face painting, spoken word, live art and music performances, the family-friendly event also includes some of Ha Noi’s best DJs to close the event, which runs from 10am until late.
Prizes are also available in a day long raffle, including free facials, furniture, bar and restaurant vouchers and more.
