HCM CITY - Zone 7 Military School will receive 130 female recruits for training as part of the 2024 military enrolment class, where they will undergo strict military training, creating well-disciplined soldiers that will carry beautiful memories of camaraderie that will never be forgotten.
The first days in the army for young female recruits are a time to get acquainted with the new aspects of military life.
Nguyễn Thị Minh Thuỷ, who graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Duy Tân University, Đà Nẵng City, decided to become a soldier just like her father.
"As the daughter of a soldier, since childhood I dreamed of becoming a soldier like my father," she said.
In the first days of training, although she was very excited, military life was completely strange to her.
Besides homesickness, Thủy had to train herself to have the discipline of a soldier, learn to sleep early, get up early, be on time, and practice neat, agile, and decisive behavior.
For many years, the Zone 7 Military School has been assigned the task of training new female soldiers recruited from many provinces and cities across the country.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Trùng Dương said that among the female recruits, some have just taken the university entrance exam, while some have graduated and are working.
After many years of training female recruits, the teachers have a lot of experience in receiving and training female recruits. The school has implemented the preparation process thoughtfully and thoroughly before accepting new recruits. VNS
