According to local elders, there was no market in the commune until 2014, when Sin Suoi Ho village was recognised as a Cultural Village.

Before the market was formed, locals had to walk 30km to the centre of Muong So Commune or to San Thang Market in Lai Chau City. The market here has made life easier.
