HA NOI (VNS)– The 2013 National Tuong (Classical Drama) Festival has attracted around 700 traditional artists from 11 troupes across the country to the central province of Quang Nam.
Fifteen plays with topics ranging from history to modern life will be performed at the event.
The biennial festival is being held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Performing Art Department from May 18 to 26.
Before the festival, 10 shows of tuong were performed by the Viet Nam Tuong Theatre to promote the event.-VNS
