HA NOI (VNS) — As many as 20,000 titles will be available at the Ha Noi Book Fair 2015 to be held at Thang Long-Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Centre in downtown Ha Noi.
Fifty publishing houses will exhibit books covering various genres such as children, literature, science and economics.
Visitors can enjoy ca tru (ceremonial singing) performances by noted artists including singer Bach Van.
The organiser will also host a programme to collect old books for needy people in the city as well as soldiers in Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago.
This is the second book fair of its kind to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the liberation of the capital from French invaders, on October 10, 1954.
The fair has been organised at 19C, Hoang Dieu Street, between September 29 and October 5. — VNS
