HA NOI — French photographer Rehahn, based in Hoi An Ancient Town in the central province of Quang Nam, is among nine nominees for Trophees des Francais de l’etranger.

Rehahn, who has interacted with nearly all Vietnamese ethnic minorities and has opened his private museum dedicated to their traditional costumes in Hoi An, got nominated for his Precious Heritage Project, which aims to capture images and document stories of different Vietnamese cultures, particularly those of the smallest ethnic groups left in the country.
