HÀ NỘI – The Việt Nam Hotel Association (VHA) officially signed a strategic agreement with OYO Hotels and Homes Group under the witness of the Việt Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to improve the quality of hospitality services.

OYO is the one of the world’s largest chains of hotels, homes and living spaces. Its membership in the professional tourism organisation cements its commitment to Việt Nam and the tourism industry in the country.

Under the terms of the partnership signed on Thursday in Hà Nội, two sides agreed to collaborate and support VHA to grow and raise standards in the hospitality sector by co-organising training programmes and chart career pathways for young aspirants intending to pursue a hospitality career in Việt Nam.

VHA will serve as the facilitator for the training programme and as a link between OYO Hotels and other VHA members to drive the advancement and development of the tourism industry.

Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hương, vice chairwoman of VNAT, said the collaboration between OYO Hotels and VHA has once again affirmed the commitment of long-term investment and sustainable development in Việt Nam.

“OYO will help bring the top-notch service to the country, offering better experiences for tourists. I feel optimistic that the collaboration will bring positive development for the advancement of the hospitality and tourism industry in the country,” said Hương.

OYO Hotels officially made its entry into Việt Nam in July 2019. Now OYO has set its footprints in 15 cities and provinces with over 7,600 rooms. VNS
