SON LA — The government has approved a project to build and develop the Moc Chau national tourism area. This will help enhance local tourism and the economy, as well as improve the lives of local residents.
According to the decision, issued by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the tourism area will cover two districts, Moc Chau and Van Ho, over an area of more than 200,000ha. The area will include a resort centre, an eco tourism centre and a recreational centre, which take up about 1,500 ha.
The project aims to exploit natural resources and ethnic culture as well as serve as a legal basis to manage and control the development of the tourism zone.
