HÀ NỘI Hundreds of Vietnamese students attended the Denmark in Your Eyes 2024 painting contest launch.
Under the theme 'Green Initiatives', the contest this year is to encourage school children to learn more about environmental and climate challenges as well as to share their initiatives, thoughts and visions for how to protect the environment and natural resources.
Contestants are invited to use their imagination and put their green ideas on biodiversity, energy efficiency, reduction of CO2 emissions and zero plastics, onto paper.
"I believe that this is an engaging platform for Vietnamese students to voice and share their thoughts, concerns, hopes and ideas on how to nurture and protect our planet," said the Ambassador of Denmark in Việt Nam.
"I cannot wait to see their bold, creative and inspirational ideas on how we can make our planet a green and liveable home for all."
The competition is open to all Vietnamese students, from both primary and secondary schools. The deadline for submissions is December 20. Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the end of the school year 2024 – 2025 in Hà Nội.
