HA NOI — A photo exhibition entitled Viet Nam-Cuba, 50 Years of Solidarity, Co-operation and Development was launched yesterday in Ha Noi's Exhibition House, 29 Hang Bai Street. The exhibition aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Among guests at the opening was Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam Fredesman Turro Gonzalez.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Tien Tho said the relationship between the two countries had been continuously boosted.
"Viet Nam will never forget Cuba's support and assistance in the past and the present," Tho said.
The exhibition illustrates the friendly ties between the two countries.
Held by the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Association and the Viet Nam Fine Arts Association, the exhibition will run until January 3. — VNS
