HA NOI — Hoang Anh Gia Lai defeated Chinese Taipei team 4-1 in their second match of the International U19 Football Tournament in Nha Trang City yesterday.
Tien Dat scored in the first half for Hoang Anh Gia Lai, while their three other goals were scored in the second half by Dung Quang Nho, Cao Hoang Tu and Le Trung Nghia.
The Taipei squad netted only once by Fong Shao Chi in the additional time.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai, who rested yesterday, has four points after two games and ranks highest for Viet Nam (six points). South Korean Gwangju (five points) defeated Myanmar 2-1 in an early match.
Tomorrow, Myanmar, which has not had a single point after two losses, will play Chinese Taipei, while Viet Nam will compete against Hoang Anh Gia Lai. — VNS
