HÀ NỘI An international football tournament for U15 players will be held in Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province from August 26 to 30.
The Acecook Cup will feature teams from Myanmar, South Korea, Russia and the host nation. They will compete at the Bà Rịa City Stadium.
After competing in a round-robin format, the team with the most points will be crowned champions.
According to Việt Nam Football Federation Vice President Nguyễn Minh Châu, the tournament is one of the activities supported by the Union of European Football Associations towards youth football in 2019.
Châu said it was also a test for the hosts ahead of the 2020 AFC U16 Football Championship qualifiers in Hà Nội next month.
Entry to the Bà Rịa stadium is free for all supporters. — VNS
