HÀ NỘI — Guinness World Record holder Russ Swift will perform his world-class precision driving skills at a stunt show in Hà Nội this weekend.

The legendary British precision driver will perform his signature Swift Parking stunt, J-turns, Donuts and a Dance Routine at the Subaru Russ Swift Stunt Show at the Mỹ Đình Stadium on July 15-16.

Thrill-seeking motor enthusiasts can also experience the daredevil stunt performances at Đà Nẵng's Exhibition Centre on July 22-23.

Boasting electrifying stunts, including the two-wheelie, and other exhilarating manoeuvres designed to wow and excite, Swift, in collaboration with Motor Image Vietnam, will once again demonstrate the thrill of driving high-performance cars.

Car fanatics across the country will be able to catch Swift’s performances at the events, which are free for all.

There will be three sessions per day at 10am, 2pm and 4pm in which he uses Việt Nam’s new generation of Subaru cars.

Spectators at the events will have a chance to talk, take photos and get Swift's autograph after each performance.

Russ came to perform in Việt Nam in 2019 and 2022.

As the current British Autotest champion and England Autotest Team Captain, Russ was asked to demonstrate his skills in public on a number of occasions and realised there was a demand for this type of entertainment.

Russ has established himself as the world’s number one display driver with numerous TV commercials, and car launches to his credit worldwide. He has now performed over 8,000 displays in over 50 countries, including America, South Africa, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.

Over the years, Russ has set three Guinness World Records: Parallel parking in the tightest space, J-turn in the tightest space and the fastest Donuts

Russ won four British Autotest Championships and an International Rally in Sweden in his Cooper S in the early eighties. He has recently spent some time promoting the new “Italian Job” film with displays at premieres in New York and London.

Russ also acts as an advisor to many Police, Military, Royal and Diplomatic drivers and works closely with the Police, ROSPA, the IAM and various road safety bodies to promote safe driving. VNS
