HÀ NỘI -- Nguyễn Thị Thật will defend her title at the Asian Road Cycling Championships in Kazakhstan in June.
Thật is currently training in Việt Nam after she won a silver at the Tour of Thailand earlier this month.
She will join her Israel Premier Tech Roland Club on May 5 to continue their tournament Europe.
"In June, Thật and her road race team will compete in the continental tournament. It will be a key warm-up for her in preparation for the Paris Olympics," said Nguyễn Ngọc Vũ. General Secretary of the Việt Nam Cycling and Motor Sports Federation.
Thật is the first Vietnamese cyclist winning a spot in Olympics after she won gold at last year Asian championship.
This year the tournament runs from June 5-12.
