HA NOI — The Viet Nam University Games (VUG) Dance Battle 2019 started in Ha Noi on Sunday.
The event drew the participation of 16 teams in the capital including Viet Nam University of Commerce, Ha Noi Architectural University, the Academy of Journalism and Communication, and FPT University.
On the opening day, Phuong Dong University beat Ha Noi Architectural University, the Banking Academy beat Ha Noi University of Business and Technology, while the Academy of Journalism and Communication bested the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam.
The event attracted thousands of students in Ha Noi cheering for their teams at the Ha Noi National University of Education.
The event’s next round will be on March 30.
Launched in 2013, VUG is one of the largest sporting events for students in futsal and freestyle dance. — VNS
