HÀ NỘI – The Global Sport Academy launched on Monday in Hà Nội's Thanh Xuân District, with international yoga masters Anjali Choudhary and Kundan Kumar from India in attendance who have won hundreds of medals at international yoga competitions.
“Originating in India, yoga has been proved as a sport with many benefits,” said Vũ Trọng Lợi, head of the Việt Nam Yoga Federation. “It’s very popular in the world and in Việt Nam.”
“The academy in collaboration with its partner, Yoga Alliance, which is authorised by the Indian government, will help train yoga masters in Việt Nam, providing professional human resources for yoga, developing this sport and building a healthy lifestyle for Vietnamese people and the expat community in the country.” he said.
Anyone interested in yoga can apply for the course with certified masters such as Veer Malik, Anjali Choudhary, Kundan Kumar, and Hoàng Trọng Vinh.
After the 200-hour course, students will receive world-level certifications (issued by the academy and Yoga Alliance) and have a chance to attend international competitions, workshops and classes.
