HA NOI — New tours highlighting the remarkable museums, theatres and relics in the capital will be launched by the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).
The VNAT co-operated with travel agents to organise pilot tours to connect tourists with some attractions of the capital on January 18 and 19.
The activity aims to realise the direction of Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien on plans to organise high-quality art programmes and build cultural products to serve tourists, according to Nguyen Dao Dung, vice chairman of the Travel Department (under the VNAT).
Following the direction, the VNAT co-ordinated with the Viet Nam National Museum of History, the Viet Nam Fine Arts Museum, the Viet Nam National Puppetry Theatre, the Centre for Research, Preservation and Promotion of Vietnamese Traditional Culture and travel enterprises to build tours to connect museums and theatres with tourism products.
Tours entitled “History of Viet Nam – Discovering of the Earth”, "History of Viet Nam - Dawn on the Rivers", "Vietnamese Fine Arts - Treasures in Ha Noi" and "Viet Nam Countryside - a View" have been carried out.
“We want to bring more visitors to these places to give them a panoramic view of the culture and history of Viet Nam in general and Ha Noi in particular,” said Dung.
“Now foreign tourists to Ha Noi have more options to visit.” — VNS
