Powerful swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien, 19, won three
gold medals – two individual and one team events – on the first day of
competitions at the National Swimming Championships.
Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram of the HCM-City-based National Sports Training
Centre won a gold medal and broke the national record in the U14 girls''
50m butterfly at the National Youth Swimming Championships in HCM City
yesterday.
Tran Duy Khoi of HCM City won the gold medal and
broke his own national record in the men''s 200m backstroke at the
National Youth Swimming Championships, which started in HCM City
yesterday.
Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram set two records and won gold
medals as HCM City dominated at the National Junior Swimming
Championship with 25 golds, 22 silvers and 24 bronzes.
