Viet Nam''s top chess player Le Quang Liem has
regained his Super Grandmaster title after his success at the 40th World
Chess Olympiad, which wrapped up in Turkey on Sunday.
Viet Nam enjoyed success at the World Chess Olympiad
in Turkey, with the men''s team finishing seventh out of 150 and their
female counterparts ranking 26th amongst 127 teams at the tournament,
which drew to a close on Sunday.
Viet Nam maintained seventh place in the women''s
section of the ongoing World Chess Olympiad in Turkey yesterday with
18.5 points after drawing 2-2 with Serbia in the seventh round of the
tournament.
Viet Nam men''s and women''s teams failed to claim a second win at the World Chess Olympiad in Turkey on Wednesday. In
the second round, the men''s team lost 1.5-2.5 to Bosnia &
Herzegovina. The only win belonged to Le Quang Liem...
