A movie by director Đặng Nhật Minh entitled Thương Nhớ Đồng Quê (Nostalgia for the Countryside) was screened last night, kicking off the Việt Nam Film Festival in New Delhi.
Movie lovers in Việt Nam will be enthralled by an array of the best European films during the European Film Festival 2016 (EFF), which will showcase 13 contemporary films from EU member countries.
India, its people and culture will be featured through a film festival
being held for the first time in Viet Nam from tomorrow (December 12)
in large cities.
Toi Thay Hoa Vang Tren Co Xanh (Yellow Flowers on
the Green Grass) won the Golden Lotus Award for best feature film at the
biennial 19th Viet Nam Film Festival organised by the Ministry of
Culture on Saturday night.
Films from nine Latin American countries will be
screened at the third Latin American Film Festival, which will run from
November 11 to 14 at the Ha Noi Cinematheque.
The best short movies by Vietnamese directors will
be presented at the WAFM Film Fest 2015, which starts on Friday at the
Viet Nam Cinematography Association.
