For a taste of Malaysia, this food festival is not to be missed

HÀ NỘI — Foodies in Hà Nội will have chance to enjoy authentic Malaysian flavours at festival dedicating to this Southeast Asian country’s cuisine.

Taking place at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel with the support of Malaysian Embassy, the festival aims to bring an exclusive culinary experience to food lovers in Hà Nội.

Thanks to the cultural diversity of this tropical country, Malaysian cuisine is made with unique techniques and flavours. The aromatic and rich taste of Malaysian food is a combination of three cuisines – the indigenous Malay cuisine, with Chinese and Indian influences.

The Malaysian Food Festival will offer diners a chance to try not only the traditional cuisine but also the breakthrough creations from the talented chef Sazli Nazim Bin Ismail from the-5-star hotel Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur. With more than 24 years experience, chef Ismail twice received the pretigious "Best Chef" award at the Culinaire Malaysia Competition in 2007 and 2013.

He will present authentic Malaysian dishes such as Rojak Buah Buahan Temptan (mixed local fruits with spicy dip), Malaysian chicken pancake with onion pickles. Several kinds of curry dishes such as chicken curry, squid cooked mamak style with curry leaf, or lamb ball cooked in yoghurt and aromatic spice.

And if that's not enough to fill you up, guest can try the  iconic dessert Bubur Cha-Cha sweet porridge or the signature Malaysian pulled tea.
