More than 10 artists from 10 different countries — all members of the Josh’s Art and Leisure’s (JAL) Contemporary Artists Network — will gather at the JAL Can “Eye” international meet-up and exhibition beginning on Saturday.
The artists, who come from Thailand, Viet Nam, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Kuwait, the Philippines, the US, South Afric, and Canada, will meet up to celebrate the spirit of artistry and show works they had conceived to express emotions through brushstrokes and colors. The “EYE” in the show’s title stands for Express Your Emotion.
Indian poet Aarti Saikia , German violinist Matthias Zeyer, and Nigerian saxophonist Oyediran Gideon Eniola will be guests artists of the event.
During the three-day meet up, every artist will showcase special masterpieces exposing the emotions of their souls through modern portrait paintings, using various media on their own styles.
The exhibition will also include poetry, music and installations.
The event will open at 7pm on Saturday and run until October 9 at the Lotte Observation Deck, 65th floor, Lotte Center, 54 Lieu Giai Street. Lotte Observation Deck Entrance Fee: VND130,000; 80,000; 50,000. — VNS
