Junior Maius Orchestra's gala concert is the result of a music summer camp started in 2018 by internationally recognised conductor Lưu Quang Minh.
HÀ NỘI — Junior classical musicians of the Junior Maius Orchestra will perform a gala concert on Saturday, July 13.
The junior musicians, aged nine to 16, participated in a summer camps of the same name, which was opened in 2018 by internationally recognised conductor Lưu Quang Minh. The camp aims to feed their passion for music and help them develop their talents. The camp also offers them the chance to be members of an orchestra.
During the three-week camp, along with outdoor activities to boost teamwork among the members, the children also took part several classes and workshops on music and art taught by experienced artists.
The concert’s programme has been set by conductor Minh, who is also the leader of the Maius Philharmonic.
Unlike normal classical music concerts that do not welcome children under eight years old, the Junior Maius Orchestra’s gala concert will receive children of all ages.
