HA NOI — A new serial on family relations, Ca Mot Doi An Oan (Life of Love and Feud), will go to air on Viet Nam Television — and overseas.
The Viet Nam Television Film Centre (VFC) introduced the serial at the Asia Television Forum and Market held at the end of November in Singapore. It was highly appreciated, said Do Thanh Hai, director of the VFC.
Hai said several foreign televisions bought the copyright to broadcast the serial in their countries.
The serial gathers actors and actresses made famous in recent TV blockbusters, such as Hong Dang, Hong Diem and Manh Truong.
Through 75 episodes, the new serial deals with complicated issues in a family. Dang and Dung seem to have a happy marriage. Phong, a son from the previous marriage of Dang’s father appears and joins the peaceful life of the family. Things become intricate when Phong realises that Dung is his ex-girlfriend.
The serial is directed by Vu Truong Khoa and Trong Trinh, who have achieved big success with recent projects, such as Song Chung Voi Me Chong (Living with Mother-in-law) and Cau Vong Tinh Yeu (Love Rainbow).
The serial will be screened on VTV3 channel from December 13. — VNS
