HA NOI — Hundreds of book companies, publishers and education units will join the Autumn Book Fair 2018 at Thong Nhat Park between August 22 and 26.
Various talk shows introducing new books and workshops on current cultural, political and historical issues explored in books will take place at the site during the fair.
Copyright transactions, exchanges between writers, publishers and readers and games for children will be key activities at the site.
The opening ceremony will be organised on the morning of August 22 at the main entrance of the park on Tran Nhan Tong Street.
According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, which hosts the fair, the event aims to nurture a passion for reading and the habit of book-buying books and to enhance the relationship between readers and writers.
The fair also aims to promote book publishing and trading as well as to connect publishers and communications units in order to publish books that meet the demands of readers. — VNS
