On September 10, L’Espace will host a concert featuring two alumni from France -- viola player Pham Vu Thien Bao and pianist Tran Ngoc Nguyen Trinh.
A leading violist of the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO), Bao graduated from the Boulogne Billancourt National Conservatory of Music in France. He has performed in several major music festivals such as ManiFeste in Paris, Festival Histoire de l’art in Fontainebleau, Festival Messiaen au pays de la Meije as well as in prestigious music halls, including Adjuvance, Espro Amphitheatre in Cite de la Musique in Paris, and the Caja Ducro de Salamasca Theatre in Spain.
Trinh, a graduate from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, continued to sharpen her skills at the Versailles Conservatory and the Boulogne Billancourt National Conservatory of Music.
The concert will also feature violinist Nguyen Trong Binh, who is also a lecturer at the Viet Nam National Conservatory of Music.
The trio will present a repertoire featuring music works by Franz Schubert, Rebecca Clarke, Olivier Messiaen and Johannes Brahms.
