HA NOI — Nguyen Thanh Cuong, winner of Master Chef Viet Nam 2015, cooked at a special culinary event held yesterday in Ha Noi.
Themed ‘Men Can Cook’, the event aimed to get men involved in cooking. Cuong hosted a cooking class on fried rice and chicken. While the cooking class taking place, children and women enjoyed games and beauty care services for free.
During the event at Thong Nhat Park, he and other chefs served more than 1,000 portions for attendees.
The food was also sent to Thien Tam 84 charity group where people cook and deliver meals for poor patients in Ha Noi.
Various artists performed at the event including singers Isaac, Hanh Sino, Phan Linh and Only 5 band.
Cuong was born in 1984. After winning Master Chef, he released a cookbook, opened some restaurants and hosted a free cooking class for children. — VNS
