DA NANG — A photo exhibition featuring 70 photos of bird species will open at the Furama Da Nang resort in celebration of Viet Nam’s National Day from September 1-3.
The city’s Artistic Photographers Association said the exhibition will display a collection by photographer Ngo Minh Duc, who has spent four years snapping shots of 100 species of bird in Da Nang.
The association said the exhibition depicts the beauty of nature and birds as well as the spirit of freedom and independence.
This is also the first time an individual photo exhibition on bird species has been held in the city, raising awareness on wildlife protection and illegal bird hunting.
Duc is a member of the Song Han photographers club in Da Nang.
All of his photo collections focus on nature, wildlife and landscapes.
The opening ceremony for the exhibition will start at 4.30pm on September 1 at 103-105 Vo Nguyen Giap Street.
There are 284 bird species living in the Son Tra and Ba Na-Nui Chua nature reserves in Da Nang, offering great chances for photographers nationwide to explore the beauty of birds. — VNS
