HA NOI — Vietnamese pianist Trang Trinh will present a recital entitled Kaleidoscope on Saturday night at L’espace.
One of the most talented pianists of her generation, Trang is a graduate with honours from the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has appeared in numerous concerts in Viet Nam and Europe.
In the concert Kaleidoscope devoted to variations, the artist wants to illustrate that in the music, as in the life, nothing is boring if it is able to vary the elements which are repeated. Her repertoire will include 12 variations of Ah! I Will Tell You, Mother by W. A. Mozart, Varied Piano Theme by Francis Poulenc, and Danse Macabre by Franz Liszt, and many more.
Tickets cost VND210,000, and 130,000 for members, and 100,000 for students. L’espace is at 24 Trang Tien Street. — VNS
