HCM CITY – The ’Water is Life’ exhibition will open on July 7 at 7:30 pm at L’Usine on 151/5 Dong Khoi St in HCM City’s District 1.
The New-York based artist Sto Len has explored the local waterways of HCM City to capture stories in print, video and sound.
In ’Water is Life’, Sto focuses on local waterways and their communities, giving voice to the global struggle to maintain clean water.
Sto Len is a printmaker, sculptor, painter, musician and curator with interests in improvisation and experimentation within a variety of media.
His current body of work integrates the traditional art of Suminagashi with experimental marbling on found maps, books, and printed propaganda.
Sto Len has exhibited his artwork internationally, including in the United States, Viet Nam, Japan, the UK, Australia, Denmark, Canada and Mexico.
