HA NOI — Tomorrow, Blossom Art House will host a workshop on the ins and outs of book binding conducted by Saghi Parkhideh – an Iranian artist who works predominantly in print making and drawing.
Bookbinding is the physical process of assembling a book from a stack of ordered paper folded together into sections. According to Parkhideh, there is a subtlety and craft that make each book well-bound book beautiful and distinctive.
Participants will be divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advance. The workshop will start with a simple Pamphlet stitch book then move on to a flutter book and finish with the Japanese four-hole stab binding.
The workshop will take place from 7-9pm. Blossom Art House is at 94B Tran Hung Dao Street. — VNS
