HA NOI — Two Miss Viet Nam beauty contest winners will be guest models at a wedding fashion show tonight at the Fortuna Hotel in Ha Noi.
The show, which features wedding collections by different designers, is part of a three-day exhibition Honeymoon& Wedding Perfect, which ends tomorrow.
This year's Miss Viet Nam Dang Thi Ngoc Han and the 2006 winner Mai Phuong Thuy will present creations by Vo Viet Chung and Lekchi.
Chung's wedding lace dress features traditional features with sparkling crystal patterns.
The wedding gown by Lekchi is innovative as some parts are removable so can be used as an evening dress.
The two dresses will be auctioned to raise funds for the charity Understanding the Heart.
Jewellery Han received when crowned this month will be auctioned, with half of the proceeds going to the charity and half to Han's own charity.
The Honeymoon&Wedding Perfect exhibition is being held by tourism magazine Travellive and the Fortuna Hotel from 8am to 10pm.
It is showcasing wedding costumes, services, jewellery, photography, invitations, honeymoon packages, hair designs, make-up, plus home furnishings. — VNS
