HÀ NỘI — Nearly 250 martial artists are competing at the National Muay Championship in the central province of Thanh Hóa.
Participants from 26 provinces and cities nationwide are competing in 32 weight categories in combat for men and women in various age groups.
The event aims to select the national team to compete in the upcoming Southeast Asian Games 30 to be held in the Philippines later this year.
The event, which opened on Thursday, is organised by the National Sports Administration and provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
It will finish on August 28. — VNS
