Powerlifter Lê Văn Công will carry the Việt Nam flag at the Paris Paralympics opening ceremony on August 28.
PARIS Powerlifters Lê Văn Công and Châu Hoàng Tuyết Loan will be Việt Nam's flag bearers at the Paris Paralympic Games opening ceremony.
It is the second time that the duo have had this honour, having previously carried the flag at Tokyo in 2021.
Việt Nam will have ten representatives at the ceremony, which will be held at the Place de la Concorde, on the night of August 28, local time, parading with athletes from around the world.
Athletes are still in training for their competitions with swimmers Đỗ Thanh Hải and Lê Tiến Đạt taking to the pool on September 1.
Powerlifter Châu Hoàng Tuyết Loan will share the honour of being Việt Nam's flag bearer at the Paris Paralympics opening ceremony on August 28.
Runner Phạm Nguyễn Khánh Minh will take part in the men's 400m T12 heat at the Stade de France on the morning of September 4.
Công and Nguyễn Bình An, also a powerlifter, will compete on same day.
Loan and female powerlifter Đặng Thị Linh Phượng will vie for medals on September 5.
