HA NOI — Viet Nam won the second match at the Davis Cup Asia-Pacific Zone, Group III, in Ha Noi yesterday.
The hosts defeated Cambodia 3-0 in Pool A at the My Dinh Athletics Complex.
In the first singles match, Trinh Linh Giang trounced Kim Delton 6-0, 6-1. His senior teammate Ly Hoang Nam followed with an easy win of 6-1, 6-1 over Long Samneang in the second singles match.
In the game three, duo Pham Minh Tuan and Le Quoc Khanh had no problems beating Delton and Mam Phalkun 6-1, 6-4.
In their first match on Tuesday, Viet Nam beat Pacific Oceania 2-1.
Their next tie is against Malaysia today. — VNS
